At FranchiseVoice, our mission is to move beyond “popularity contests” and vanity metrics. The FranchiseVoice Power 100 is an editorially curated ranking designed to identify the individuals who are truly moving the needle in the global franchising ecosystem.
Influence, in our view, is defined by impact, credibility, and contribution. Here is how we measure it.
Our Ranking Methodology
The FranchiseVoice Top 100 is an editorially curated ranking that identifies the most influential leaders in franchising. We use a weighted scoring system that combines hard data with expert human insight.
The 80/20 Rule: The criteria below account for 80% of the total score. The final 20% is determined by our expert judges to capture the qualitative leadership and innovation that data cannot measure.

The Selection Process
Data Gathering & Peer Nominations
We collect data from public records, industry news, and social data. We also accept nominations from peers within the industry to ensure we aren’t overlooking “quiet” leaders making a massive impact behind the scenes.
Editorial Review
Our expert panel reviews the candidate pool. This team—composed of franchise veterans and analysts—scores each candidate against the Five Pillars.
Verification
We verify the claims of impact and reach to ensure the integrity of the list. Numerical scores are kept internal to maintain the focus on the collective strength of the Top 100.
Final Curation
The final list is balanced to ensure representation across various sectors of the industry, from legal and consulting to operations and executive leadership.
