Ad: $300/mo
Average Number of Employees: 10+
Passive Ownership: No
Semi-Passive Ownership: Yes, on a case-by-case basis for highly qualified individuals. For example, we currently have medical doctors who are transitioning from their practices and are increasingly involved in establishing their agencies. Individuals in this position should be prepared to hire an administrative team to handle daily operations of their agency. The Headquarters team will assist in training their admin team.
Home Based: No
B2B: In some regards; a significant component of establishing a home care agency is community partners and relationships. Franchisees should expect to spend much of their time networking with local organizations such as hospice companies, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals to establish themselves in their markets. These community partners provide many opportunities for our franchisees to co-market, share an audience, and refer clients to one another. The Headquarters team provides training in how to network with these community partners to strengthen their business. However, the end-user of our model is ultimately the clients and their families, but these B2B relationships are an important part of succeeding in the local market.

Q Support & Training

<-Comprehensive start-up training: The National Headquarters team will facilitate onboarding training for all incoming franchisees in a 23-module format to prepare them for opening and daily operations.

-Proprietary formula proven for success: With several information systems and tools in place, our owners are prepared to succeed in their market from day one.

-State-of-the-art Home Care Platform: With our robust homecare software, we work to provide our owners the tools to run their agencies as efficiently as possible. This allows them to focus on the most important part of their business: providing compassionate, personalized care.

-Ongoing education/coaching programs and webinars: All franchisees are routinely offered opportunities for mentoring, coaching, and education to stay current on industry updates and best practices.

- Palpable information sharing culture: Our franchise family is comprised of individuals who are always willing to strategy share and support one another.

-Synergy with Sister Company: Synergy with our sister company, City Publications, helps ameriCARE franchisees ramp up quickly! Leveraging advertising relationships and expertise is a significant value ad for new owners.

-Premier Vendor Partners: We partner with some of the best vendors in the industry to give our franchisees a network of trusted experts, dedicated to their success.

Regardless of their time in the franchise family, all ameriCARE owners receive the same level of support from the Headquarters team. This includes even our franchise owners who are under Area Representatives!

Financial Assistance Provided: No; However, we do maintain relationships with financial partners and can help facilitate funding.

Site Selection Assistance: Yes

Lease Negotiation Assistance: Yes

Co-Operative Advertising: Yes; primarily digital and via sister company, City Publications, through direct mail and traditional marketing mediums

**NEW** Recruiting Initiatives: The national Headquarters team will facilitate hiring and recruitment efforts. Additionally, the corporate team has established a national awards program to recognize exceptional caregivers. Each quarter, franchise owners have the opportunity to nominate caregivers in their organization who exceed expectations and provide next-level care for their clients. The winner receives a $1,000 cash prize and is recognized on a national level.

The corporate team has also established a scholarship program for nominated caregivers to receive funding towards obtaining their CNA license. This licensure is often a next step in many caregivers’ careers and allows them to pursue their goals.

Why was this established? These initiatives were designed to combat the current hiring climate and separate ameriCARE from the competition in local markets. Studies have shown that caregivers often feel underrecognized and underappreciated by their employers. At ameriCARE, we understand that caregivers are the foundation of our operations and have worked to establish a culture of appreciation and recognition.

Q Ideal Candidate

New ameriCARE owners can expect to have their days filled with:

-recruitment efforts (hosting and/or attending virtual or in-person events)

-interviewing and hiring caregivers

-matching caregivers and clients systematically through our homecare platform to receive care

-meeting with potential clients and their families in their home for care assessments

-marketing efforts and social media engagement

-collaborating with the Headquarters team and approved vendors to strategize

-networking with community referral sources

-attending, sponsoring, and/or presenting educational community events

-quality care evaluations

Depending on the owner’s access to resources, they may decide to hire additional personnel to assist with operations.
