Bar-B-Clean offers barbecue cleaning, service, parts and repairs, as well as new grill sales. Our mission is to promote a healthy, family-oriented lifestyle to our clients while pioneering and leading the untapped barbecue cleaning industry.
Bar-B-Clean started in 2012 out of necessity. Our founder needed his grill cleaned and there was only one competitor in the market. Rather than calling the competitor, he capitalized on an opportunity and started his own grill cleaning business. After finding success, he franchised the business in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since.
Bar-B-Clean is a mobile home service business where we provide a service that customers want done, but don’t want to do themselves – similar to window cleaning or carpet cleaning. Anybody with a backyard barbecue is a prospective customer. If grills haven’t been professionally cleaned within six months, cancer-causing carcinogens left behind by old food & rat droppings cause real health risks. HOA’s, apartment complexes, office buildings, hotels and Airbnb’s also offer great B2B opportunities for our franchisees.
Our customers are typically in the middle to upper class demographic, so we know it is important to set ourselves apart from our mom-and-pop competitors. We do that through our proprietary steam cleaning system and custom Stainless-Steel Polish, bringing instant credibility and brand awareness. Our proprietary CRM keeps our customers up to date with appointment reminders and professional invoices while keeping our franchisees organized and efficient.

Training:
Training consists of a 2-day meeting. The first half of the first day is at our home office going over our 100+ page operations manual. Everything from starting their business, growing their business and being efficient in their business. Of course, training in marketing strategies, sales, sales pitch, technology, parts and new grills, etc. The second half of the first day and the second day, we go out into the field with our operations manager and we train them on the technical side of the business. We will take apart 3 grills, show them the configurations and how we go about repairing the individual parts inside the grills. We will also go over the entire cleaning process. We will give the new franchisees an opportunity to see the cleaning process, take part in the cleaning process, then teach the cleaning process.
On-Going Support
Business coaching where we meet once a month to go over a goal planning exercise, then review monthly numbers and discuss what is needed to stay on course to reaching those goals.
