What we do is not “traditional” property restoration.  We do Contents Restoration.

Tradtional property restoration companies fix a house/building after a fire/flood/storm (floors, walls, ceilings, etc).  Traditional restoration is 24/7, and there are a LOT of competitors. 

Contents restoration is scheduled (our hours are 8-5, M-F), our people don’t wade through sewage and “yucky” stuff, and we actually are referred work from all those restoration contractors out there.  There are far less competitors in contents restoration. 

Contents restoration is best described this way…if you tipped a house or a building upside down, everything that would fall out is contents.  Contents are the things that have actual value and/or sentimental value.  Contents are often the things that make a house a home…things like Grandma’s wedding album, little Tommy’s teddy bear, or your collection of 8 tracks (as well as furniture, electronics, artwork, documents, clothing and more). 

Contents restoration is covered by insurance.  Everyone has it.  For an insurance company, it’s much less expensive to clean and restore an item than it is to replace it.  For a home owner or property owner, they’d usually much rather have THEIR item that has sentimental value. 

That’s where Blue Kangaroo Packoutz comes in.  We work with insurance agents and adjusters, as well as traditional property restoration contractors (because the vast majority of them don’t do contents restoration, they sub it out) to help homeowners and property owners keep the things they value most. 

We assess the job, we inventory everything, we carefully pack it out, we clean what needs to be cleaned, we store everything safely until the home owner is ready to receive it back, and then we move it all back.  Each step of the way, Blue Kangaroo Packoutz gets paid by the insurance company.  

What’s the biggest differentiator?  Blue Kangaroo Packoutz is owned by the world’s largest property restoration company, BELFOR.  BELFOR has nearly 100 offices located throughout the US, and most of them don’t do contents restoration.  So not only does Blue Kangaroo Packoutz get work from many of the property restoration contractors out there, we can also get work from biggest company on the planet in our industry.
