New York Consideration : Under current home care agency regulations in New York, there is a Certificate of Need needed to operate and there are currently challenges to prove that need. Therefore, we are not currently awarding in several counties in NY. The candidate needs to know that they would have to start with our active and wellness care levels only first. There is a moratorium on personal care however it is easier to present the need in Upstate NY but it still can take anywhere from 18 months-2 years to get personal care license If you need a complete list of counties where we can develop or have any other questions, please contact us.
Oklahoma Consideration : The State of Oklahoma requires any person applying to take a test and there are only 4 schools in the state that offer the classes with limited offerings. If someone understands the working of the health system, it’s possible to get licensed. Please contact us for more details.

Semi-absentee owners need to be involved with the launch of the business because they have to apply for their home care license (if their state requires one), getting an office space and still going through our training program (5 weeks total/25 hrs dedication a week/1 of those weeks in Denver, the other 4 remote). After that it's of course general oversight of those 2 roles (Sales/Marketing and Operations).
