MEALS OF HOPE is an energetic, caring, dedicated, generous, responsible, capable, solid, trustworthy, and concerned organization whose mission is to end hunger in the United States.

Meals of Hope engages “host organizations” to make a tax-deductible purchase of food required to pack dried, fortified meals that are subsequently donated to Food Banks and other organizations that serve communities in need. The ultimate recipients of the food are individuals and families who are experiencing food insecurities or hunger for any reason. It is important to note that Meals of Hope is the ONLY such meal packing organization committed solely to stamping out hunger in the U.S. (Other similar organizations ship food overseas.)

Meals of Hope relies on Packing Partners (our Franchisees) who are specially certified and trained to hold food packing events for “host” organizations. A host can be any type of group that wants to band together and make a difference in their communities by raising money to supply food to the hungry. Host organizations are the target audience for Meals of Hope.

A typical host organization might be a:

  • Professional or Trade Association
  • School-based team or Collegiate Clubs (ex: Debate Club, Sorority, Fraternity)
  • Corporation or business
  • Church or religious organization
  • Other non-profits and Service organizations such as Rotary or Kiwanis

The host organization promotes their event, pays for the food, and brings volunteers to pack the food at a location of their choosing. The packing event can be a fun, intense, competitive event where a considerable amount of food is packed by hundreds of volunteers in a short amount of time. Because our parent organization is a non-profit, we offer our Packing Partners the opportunity to build a business while supporting  the ongoing mission of a non-profit organization.
