This is a manage-the-manager model. Franchisees do NOT need to learn how to stretch, or even visit the studio that frequently. The need to hire a good manager, incentivize them with their pay, set goals, and hold them accountable for those goals. Then monitor.

Training:
First training for franchisees is 5 days of Franchisee Ownership-focused fundamentals. That is when franchisees meet their Studio Opening Specialst who works them through an 86 item checklist to get them from Welcome to Open.
Management training is 2 weeks in Fort Lauderdale, with one week of Stretch Practitioner Certification followed by one week of Management and Sales training. Then Opening week we send 2 Master Practitioners out to your new studio. One supervises and assists your managers while they are performing Demonstration Stretches (Our sales opportunity) and the other is performing the same 40-hour Stretch Practitioner Certification on site so you do NOT need to send everyone to Florida to learn how to stretch.

After opening, we have ongoing new opening meetings as well as Ongoing Education classes. In addition, we have a Brand Performance department to report in proactively to owners and meet to monitor studio and owner performance. Our SCORE department re-certifies all studios once per year.

Ideally I look for three things in a franchise candidate:1. Understands how practitioner-assisted stretching is helping people and is passionate about it, as they are a contributing factor in the success of the studios, by doing interviews, talking up the brand and the studios, etc. 2. Financially Qualified to sign for 3 locations. 3. Good people that want to have fun while we help people every half hour. Backgrounds include Corporate executives, entrepreneurs, athletes, Chiropractors, wealth managers, multi unit franchisees of other complementary concepts, and private equity groups.
