Training:
Extensive 1 week training on-site at our HQ and production factory, with our famous hospitality, then a dedicate operations director to provide ongoing support. Days 1 and 2 are meeting your operations director and the leadership team, working with them as liaisons, and meeting with leaders in each key franchisee support department such as marketing, sales, estimating, call center, IT, etc. Day 3 is spent on the road with a top salesperson in our company-owned franchise, meeting customers and learning how to provide consultations and evaluations. Day 4 is spent on the road with our installation training team learning how to install wheelchair ramps and other accessibility products. Day 5 is back at our HQ learning how to do an in-service presentation and final Q&A. Then the FUN begins once the franchisee gets home, and we start supporting their growth.
Owner-operator franchisees typically focus on meeting with customers in sales and marketing roles. Specifically, we do not want them installing products as they can get more ROI from subcontracting or FTEs. The day starts by ensuring the installation teams are ready to install the projects scheduled for the day (most take just a few hours, and two or more can be installed by one crew in a day). Then the franchisee calls on customers who have asked for help. First pre-qualifying to ensure the customer can afford the product (we teach them how to do this), then scheduling visits with those who can. Throughout the day, they speak with new customers and customers who have accepted proposals and need their installations scheduled. All this is managed through our CRM software. The afternoons are generally when proposals are sent. We provide Estimating services to draw accurate ramp layouts to send to potential customers as well as providing pricing and packing sheets for the installation teams to use when installing the products.
