Description
India's passion for two-wheelers is undisputed, but over the last decade, a massive behavioral shift has taken place. The modern Indian traveler and daily commuter are no longer looking just to own vehicles; they are looking for experiences, freedom, and asset-light mobility. This is where Stonehead Bikes steps in as a pioneer. Established as India’s first dedicated motorcycle rental and adventure tour platform, Stonehead Bikes has completely redefined the two-wheeler rental landscape in the country.
The concept is simple yet brilliantly executed: providing premium, meticulously maintained motorcycles and scooters on rent to domestic travelers, daily commuters, and international tourists from over 50 countries. From rugged, high-altitude expeditions in Leh-Ladakh and Spiti Valley to flexible, pocket-friendly daily or monthly city commutes, the brand caters to a diverse market pool.
What truly sets Stonehead Bikes apart in the market is its positioning as an Official Royal Enfield Rental and Tour Partner. This highly coveted association gives the brand an immediate edge in credibility, premium positioning, and asset valuation. By prioritizing radical transparency, safety, and mechanical integrity, Stonehead Bikes has evolved from a local rental shop into a globally trusted adventure travel brand. For an investor, entering this franchise network means stepping into a recession-proof industry with a structured operational ecosystem, an established digital booking engine, and a reputation that guarantees immediate footfalls.

Brand Journey & History: The story of Stonehead Bikes is deeply human and born out of raw consumer frustration. In 2009, while on a life-changing solo motorcycle trip to Ladakh, Khomendra Singh found himself stranded in unforgiving terrain because of an unreliable rented motorcycle. To make matters worse, the vendor unethically refused to refund his security deposit upon return. Frustrated by the lack of regulations, transparency, and safety in the unorganized rental sector, Khomendra quit his mundane 9-to-5 corporate job to create a rental company built on trust. Starting from a humble rented premises where he personally washed the bikes, serviced the engines, and answered customer calls, Khomendra focused on absolute mechanical perfection. In 2011, Stonehead Bikes made history by launching India’s first dedicated online motorcycle rental website. Over the years, that single-bike operation has scaled into a formidable fleet of premium motorcycles serving over 50,000+ riders globally.
