Midwest Shooting Center® (MSC) is disrupting the traditional firearms industry with a modern, community-focused approach to the range-retail experience. Founded by U.S. Marine Corps veterans, MSC offers a welcoming and innovative environment where beginners and enthusiasts alike feel confident and safe. More than just a shooting range, MSC integrates retail, training, memberships, and gunsmithing into one profitable, scalable business model.
Franchisees benefit from multiple recurring revenue streams—especially subscription-based memberships—as well as proven operational systems, robust marketing support, and national buying power. MSC helps owners navigate regulatory hurdles with expert guidance and turnkey site selection services. The result is a streamlined launch process and a franchise that consistently outperforms traditional competitors in customer satisfaction and financial performance.
With a strong brand, modern facilities, and an underserved market, Midwest Shooting Center is redefining what it means to own a firearms business—and offers franchisees the tools, support, and strategy to succeed.

The business is a retail and range operation. It is a full service shop with multiple revenue streams. As the owner of the franchise, it is your job to ensure a high level of execution from your staff, whether that is via a strong General Manager or through your own leadership. We will provide the tools to operate the location, but you and your team must be able to execute the business. Many of the following tasks can be completed by the general manager and not on the owner, so the level of responsibility is up to the franchisee but the following must be done on a daily basis:
Customer Service and Retail Sales
Purchasing
Inventory Management
Hiring
Training
Upholding compliance standards
Marketing and Advertising
Outreach and Sales Management
IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal franchise owner for Midwest Shooting Center is someone with a track record of success in a business environment and passion for our industry. We provide the playbook and support, but ultimately, our franchisees must be self-starters and leaders of people (We are in the people business, not the firearms business). Having a team-oriented attitude, willingness to learn, and will to win are critical components for our corporate staff and franchisees alike.

Specify: Our brand is a complex business, and certainly requires and engaged entrepreneur. However, from a day-to-day operations standpoint we allow the general manager of the operation to be someone other than the owner. There are ownership responsibilities that will always be needed beyond the GM responsibilities, but the operational execution of the location can be handled by the general manager. If a franchisee wishes to be said GM, that is great, but not required.
