YOLO Mentoring LLC will provide superior quality services of Mentoring and Sibling Visitation to the growing need of services in the State of Florida. Judges, attorney’s, case managers, juvenile probation officers and community members refer youths and adults for individual services with the intent of promoting personal growth and a positive change. YOLO Mentoring LLC provides superior quality services for youths and adults.
YOLO Mentoring LLC is a private company that focuses on guiding young minds towards being responsible adults.
Youth’s entering the YOLO Mentoring LLC program will meet with the mentor and establish a rapport to outline mentoring services based on the referral for the need of Mentoring. YOLO Mentoring LLC’s staff will design its services to meet individual’s needs with planned objectives outlining how to obtain their goals of the 4 areas of focus. Consent of release, liability form and payment agreement must be signed by the parent or legal guardian prior to the start of the program. Weekly sessions with the qualified YOLO Mentoring LLC staff member will ensure the child is learning valuable life skills including stress management, assertiveness training, interactions with teachers, police and authority and appropriate behavior, while assuming responsibility for his own action and developing a stronger sense of self worth.
Sibling Visitation in critical for siblings placed in different locations. Sibling facilitators will provide transportation to pick up the siblings and have a minimum 2 hour face to face visit with them in the community. Individuals that require a car seat may participate in the sibling visitation service but are not transported by YOLO Mentoring staff. YOLO Mentoring’s Sibling Visitation service provides a fun, non-restrictive, and organic bonding experience for the siblings. Having a strong sibling bond has created a smooth transition during the reunification process. YOLO Mentoring’s Sibling Visitation program has helped maintain placement stability prior to and post reunification.
YOLO Mentoring LLC has partnered with many employers in the State of Florida and is committed to teaching vocational skills to young adults. YOLO Mentoring LLC will practice resume building, interviewing skills and job application preparedness. The participants will set up and attend job interviews at part of the program’s design.
Mentoring participants will be encouraged to continue to participate as a means of community service. YOLO Mentoring LLC is affiliate is community based organizations and will participate in community service with the youth. YOLO Mentoring LLC feels that positive male role modeling is learned through interactive observations. Successful participants will be involved in community service activities, creating collaborations that will carry them into their adult years while repaying their debt to society for past misbehaviors. As a courtesy, YOLO Mentoring LLC will draft a formal written letter that the youth has been full filling the community service hours.
Young minds and adult minds in this program have the ability to reach these goals and achieve success with the guidance, focus and encouraging environment provided by YOLO Mentoring LLC. These are the keys to successful conversion for many of the misguided youths with no positive male role models. It is the goal of YOLO Mentoring LLC to assist young minds to productive adult in our society.
In helping to develop positive patterns and life style changes each child will increase their own welfare.
It is common with most mentoring programs for the mentors to be volunteers. Many volunteers do not remain volunteers very long. Many volunteers cannot relate to today’s complex behaviors. YOLO Mentoring LLC is a private company that is dedicated to creating positive, meaningful, lasting impression as a form of non- judgmental support as a positive male role model. Regular follow up with the participants on a weekly or biweekly basis ensures that the mentor is creating positive structure and patterns.
The philosophy of YOLO Mentoring LLC is that children crave structure. Many kids lack this feeling in their home life and often just need to be shown that they are able to create and maintain their own structure. Through positive role modeling the participants will be able to achieve personal growth. This helps them grasp the concept and hopefully allow it to filter into their home life rather than vise versa. Many times it is just a matter of redirecting their way of thinking. Children are impressionable, and they can be encouraged or discouraged quickly. I believe the key is to encourage them enough to get started, gain a sense of self confidence, and begin to set goals for themselves. When signs of progress become evident it is that much easier for a child to see their own potential, giving them the strength to follow through and achieve their goals.
We believe adults tell kids they have potential and want them to find success, but are not aware of how to properly encourage them. Children develop into hormonal teenagers and are often viewed as “out of control.” YOLO Mentoring LLC believes that with quality services of Mentoring, Therapy, Tutoring and Behavioral Analysis, young adults will have the ability to reach their goals and succeed, all they need is focus, a positive attitude, and an encouraging environment: these are the keys to success.

By commanding the respect and support of the community, YOLO Mentoring LLC will graduate many educated responsible adolescents, whom will develop into successful adults, therefore breaking the pattern that troubled youths continue to be troubled adults.

We have already sold our first franchise and that owner is currently working on his second contract. I have taken time to train him to be an owner and worker. We still have weekly meetings to touch base on anything he needs to be successful. I plan to be there for all the future franchisees to make sure they have all the tools they need to be successful.
Ideally I am looking for someone who has a passion to help kids in society and wants to mix that passion with a business mind. This is still a business and I need someone who is motivated to help but can always put the work in to make this succeed.
