Description
While technically in the commercial cleaning industry (but not providing stereotypical janitorial services), EM typically avoids cleaning the offices that just need an end-of-day vacuum, sweeping, and/or taking out trash; instead, Enviro-Master franchisees focus on servicing storefront businesses on a recurring (weekly) basis. EM mitigates risk and contributes to brand equity by offering customers hygiene-related, deep cleaning solutions within commercial storefronts, restrooms, kitchens, breakrooms, and many other surfaces including glass and floors; EM franchisee's services now also include commercial power washing and window treatment.
Enviro-Master is one of the only franchises in North America that precisely exhibits a unique combination of 7 essential business fundamentals. Just tell your client...
"I'd like to show you a franchise that has:
- Multiple, Recurring Revenue Streams
- Resistance to Economic Changes
- Is Unlikely to Ever be Displaced by Technology
- An Unlimited Customer Base
- Minimal, Organized (Nationwide) Competition
- Minimal Capital-Intensive Investments
- And is Highly Scalable (because of low overhead requirements, minimal capital investments, and strong contribution margins)"
"Interested in learning more?"
The above fundamentals were why our predecessor brand, Swisher Hygiene (est. 1983 - the pioneeer in the restroom hygiene service model) was so successful and was eventually acquired by Wayne Huizenga.
The types of businesses Enviro-Master franchisees service varies, but have historically ranged from retail, restaurants / fast food, convenient stores, fitness centers, automotive, entertainment venues, industrial, education, government, manufacturing, healthcare, and warehousing. Any business that's not home-based can be a client! We have corporate account contracts with over 100 brands across North America, allowing our franchisees to develop their new markets quickly and profitably.

Ideal Candidate
EM now allows franchisee to be semi-absentee upon startup!
- The most profitable franchise owners are involved in business development efforts. However, franchisee does not have to be the main salesperson (if not the franchisee, someone must be hired to sell full-time). We can help them recruit and train a sales rep OR assist in coaching their outside sales rep on an ongoing basis.
- The 'historica'l EM franchisee will hire and oversee an Operations Manager upon startup; Ops Manager acts as the first "muscle" of the business (performing service). As the business scales, the Operations Manager interviews and trains new technicians, meanwhile performing the "higher ticket" services and performing installs (first service); hired technicians then perform the weekly, recurring services.
- Eventually, the franchise owner's role will become more of an "executive" function, overseeing the Operations Manager + Sales team, ensuring efficiency of sales reps and continuity of service expectations.
- Over the first 36 months of operations, typical franchisees are very involved in their business. Franchisees oversee financials, help build the customer-focused and sales-driven culture, and nurture relationships to ensure account / employee retention.
