Description
The Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) landscape in India is undergoing a massive shift. While international pizza chains have long dominated metro cities, a massive, underserved demographic has quietly been looking for something different: 100% pure vegetarian, high-quality, authentic Italian-style pizzas priced for the everyday Indian consumer.
That’s precisely where Pizza Galleria comes in.
Positioned as India’s first 100% vegetarian pizza chain, Pizza Galleria has carved out an aggressive market position. By offering hot, fresh pizzas made with signature sauces and dough starting at just ₹69, the brand bridges the gap between premium taste and budget accessibility. Featured prominently on Shark Tank India (Season 3), Pizza Galleria has proven that a brand built in Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns can achieve national acclaim and scale rapidly across North India and beyond.
For an investor or budding entrepreneur, a Pizza Galleria franchise isn’t just a food venture—it’s an opportunity to tap into India’s vast vegetarian population with a battle-tested, high-margin unit economics model. With minimal food wastage, zero-complication kitchen operations, and central raw material support, this brand offers one of the most accessible pathways to owning a profitable food business in India today.

The Brand Journey
The story began in 2015 when Sandeep Jangra launched a small pizza outlet in Gohana, a modest town in Haryana. Seeing a huge demand for fresh, hygienic, affordable, and 100% vegetarian pizza, he was soon joined by his childhood friend Ishan Chugh in 2017. Together, they refined the dough formulations, created secret sauce recipes inspired by Italian chefs, and built a streamlined kitchen system that didn’t rely on expensive master chefs.
From a single shop in Gohana to a second unit in Panipat, Pizza Galleria scaled steadily across tier-2 and tier-3 towns before expanding into major metros. Today, with more than 100 outlets serving over 1 crore happy customers, Pizza Galleria stands as one of India's fastest-growing homegrown vegetarian QSR chains.
