Training: With approximately 150 staff members at Schooley Mitchell's corporate office, we support franchisees with access to our sales and operational tools, client solutions, marketing team, constantly improving technology, and any other resources needed to turn this franchise opportunity into a profitable business.

For new franchisees, we offer a six-day virtual training course with live interactive instructors. After these six days, franchisees continue to receive ongoing training and support through several programs designed for their success.

Owner's Daily Activities: A day in the life of a Schooley Mitchell Franchisee is absolutely up to the individual, and there are many options in terms of how to operate the business. It is certainly a relationship-building business – our franchisees spend much of their time engaging with prospective clients, networking in their business community, presenting our professional reports, and establishing relationships with professionals and associations that will lead to business opportunities.

It can be very valuable to get out and meet with the business-to-business professionals in your community, whether that’s over lunch or just coffee. We strongly suggest these meetings as a key aspect in building relationships and starting your business.

Some of our Franchisees spend a few hours a week cold calling. Others don’t do it at all. Some people use telemarketing services – either in-house through head office or through outsourcing – to set appointments and meet with prospective clients. Many Franchisees meet with salespeople from other industries to set up paid referral relationships in order to set up a client flow from that source. Many join Chambers of Commerce, BNIs and similar networking groups in their areas.

One thing that is also worth mentioning is that none of these activities require somebody to be an extrovert, or to have a sales background. Our most successful franchisees listen to their prospects and clients, and use stories to indicate how our services can help their clients. We are excited to announce a new Development Franchise option for Candidates. While we know that not everyone wants to hire people and develop various territories, we also know there are some people that would like to build a big business. We have developed this option for those people. The Franchisee will be able to develop up to 10 territories simultaneously with this model. The Franchise Fee for this model will be $250,000.
