GolfTRK Franchise Brings Smart Indoor Golf Training

GolfTRK Franchise Redefines Golf Practice with Smart Technology and Flexible Access

A Modern Solution for Consistent Golf Training

For many recreational golfers, improving their game often takes a backseat to busy schedules, family responsibilities, and unpredictable weather. GolfTRK addresses this challenge by introducing a tech-driven indoor training concept that allows players to practice on their own time, without the traditional barriers of outdoor golf.

Led by CEO Alex Reed alongside co-founders Matt Williams and Sam Collins, the brand was built to function like a fitness club for golfers — a place where players can integrate practice into their daily routine. The founders, each with more than a decade of corporate experience, identified a clear gap in the market for a focused, performance-based golf training environment.

Riding the Wave of Golf Industry Growth

GolfTRK is entering the market during a period of strong industry expansion. On-course golf participation reached 28.1 million players in 2024, marking the highest level in over a decade. When including off-course formats, total engagement climbed to 47.2 million participants. Simulator and screen-based golf has also seen rapid adoption, growing from 3.8 million users in 2015 to 8.1 million in 2024.

This surge in interest highlights a growing demand for accessible and flexible ways to engage with the sport — a trend that GolfTRK is strategically positioned to capitalize on.

A Membership-Based Model Focused on Performance

GolfTRK differentiates itself from entertainment-driven golf venues by focusing entirely on game improvement. The concept operates as a membership-based indoor club where players can book private hitting bays equipped with advanced tracking technology.

Members access facilities using keypad entry and enjoy extended hours from 5 a.m. to midnight, ensuring maximum flexibility. With no walk-ins permitted, scheduling remains organized and predictable. The average member visits nearly 10 times per month, reinforcing the brand’s role in building consistent practice habits.

Flexible membership options, including individual plans, guest access, and both monthly and annual subscriptions, make the concept accessible to a wide range of golfers.

Advanced Technology Driving Better Results

A core pillar of GolfTRK’s value proposition is its investment in elite training technology. Each facility is equipped with Trackman systems, widely regarded as the industry standard. This technology uses radar and camera-based tracking to measure over 40 data points per swing, providing detailed insights into ball flight, club movement, and overall performance.

The brand also integrates PuttView Indoor technology, which uses augmented reality and projection mapping to transform putting practice into an interactive experience. Golfers can visualize putting lines, breaks, and pace in real time while tracking multiple attempts simultaneously.

By offering access to technology that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive for individual ownership, GolfTRK creates a high-value training environment for its members.

Coaching Support Enhances the Experience

Each GolfTRK location includes access to a PGA professional, adding another layer of expertise to the training process. Much like a personal trainer in a gym, these professionals help members interpret their data, refine techniques, and accelerate improvement.

Services such as lessons, club fittings, and personalized coaching programs further enhance the customer experience, making each visit both productive and educational.

Franchise Model Designed for Flexibility

GolfTRK offers a streamlined operational structure that appeals to a variety of franchise owners. A general manager typically oversees daily operations, allowing for both semi-absentee ownership and hands-on management.

The model attracts two primary investor types: executives seeking a managed business and owner-operators, often golf professionals, who prefer to run the facility directly and capture additional service revenue. When the operator also serves as the general manager, the cost structure becomes more efficient and profitability potential increases.

Facilities generally range from 2,000 to 5,000 square feet and can be developed in warehouse, flex, or retail spaces. After construction, GolfTRK handles the final installation of turf, screens, and technology systems.

Scaling with Structured Growth and Strategic Partnerships

GolfTRK launched its first location in August 2023, followed by a second in early 2025. Since beginning franchise sales in 2025, the brand has already sold 43 units and expanded to five operational locations, with a flagship headquarters planned in Kansas City.

To support this growth, the company partnered with REP’M Group to strengthen franchise development systems and improve scalability. Additionally, Build’M provides construction support from initial licensing through to opening, ensuring consistency and efficiency across locations.

Investment and Long-Term Opportunity

The total investment for a GolfTRK franchise typically ranges from $398,743 to $973,500, depending on facility size and configuration. New locations are generally expected to open within nine to 12 months.

GolfTRK is positioned as a complementary solution to traditional golf, enhancing rather than replacing on-course play. By offering a practical, data-driven approach to improvement, the brand delivers a compelling opportunity for both golfers and franchise investors looking to enter a growing, technology-enabled segment of the sports industry.
