Training Program
Phase I – Initial Training (4–6 Weeks)
Conducted at the franchisor’s headquarters in Charleston or another designated location, beginning 8–12 weeks prior to opening.
Training includes:
- Administrative & operational procedures
- Sales & marketing training
- Extensive on-the-job instruction
- Cooking & kitchen operations
- Management skills
- Cleaning & sanitation
- Inventory control
- Culture building
- POS system training
- Additional operational skills
Training is provided for the franchisee plus up to two additional team members.
Phase II – On-Site Training (3 Weeks)
Conducted at the franchisee’s restaurant location.
- Begins 1 week before opening
- Continues through opening week and beyond
- Hands-on operational support
- Field-based marketing assistance
- Local outreach and initial contact building
- Full guidance to ensure operational readiness
Training Completion Requirements
- Franchisee cannot open until Phase I is completed successfully.
- Franchisee cannot continue operating unless Phase II is completed.
- If performance is insufficient, franchisor may require additional training or cancel the Franchise Agreement.
Ongoing Training
Franchisees must attend:
- Up to 2 days of refresher/update training per year (held in up to two sessions).
Additional team members may attend if space permits.
Franchisor provides training at no cost, but franchisee covers travel, lodging & miscellaneous expenses.
Support Programs
A dedicated field support representative will visit franchisees on the following schedule:
- First Quarter: Weekly
- Second Quarter: Biweekly
- Third Quarter & Beyond: Monthly
