Matterhorn Fit was created by former professional hockey player Ryan Vesce and strength and conditioning specialist Sean Sullivan.
Vesce's experience recovering from serious injuries helped inspire the concept. Together, the founders developed an approach that combines rehabilitation, neurological movement training and strength development.
The first Matterhorn Fit facility opened in Bonita Springs, Florida, in 2018.
The company later expanded to Naples and began franchising in 2023.
Matterhorn Fit currently has approximately five operating U.S. locations, including company-owned and franchised facilities. Additional territories have been awarded, and the brand continues expanding into new U.S. markets.
