Training: Most of our franchisees had no previous property management experience. In between signing the franchise agreement and opening their doors is 8-12 weeks of on-boarding training. This provides time for the franchisee to obtain their Real Estate license and take property management courses in our online university, as well as perform local business set up items. The week before opening their doors, they will spend 4 days at our corporate headquarters for New Franchise Training. Our ongoing support is extensive. Our support team includes property managers, HR, IT and marketing professionals, accountants, and business coaches who provide additional training and expert advice. We also have an intranet accessible only to our franchisees which includes a detailed operations manual and a library of over 500 forms, checklists, and job aids.


Ideal Candidate

A property manager’s role is multi-faceted: to find and screen tenants, process rent payments, provide property inspections, coordinate maintenance and repairs, monthly trust accounting and process evictions when necessary. As the owner of the business, your candidate would be selling their services to property owners and investors, working with real estate agents and other real estate professionals to gain business referrals, and managing their business and staff.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator - both written and verbal. Business development is key to the owner's role, so sales experience or a natural comfort in relationship building and networking is preferred, although it can be hired if necessary. Comfort in using web based systems and technology is beneficial and integrity is key as our owners manage large assets for their clients.
